Cost
The first initial assessment session is $150, and all follow-up sessions are $125. You also have the option of purchasing 3, 6, or a 12 month packages at a cost savings of 15%. Finances should not hold you back from investing in yourself and your wellness. If you have extenuating circumstances we can always discuss the option of sliding scale (adjusted payment method). Cash, credit/debit, and personal checks are accepted. Insurance is not accepted. Insurance companies require a primary mental health diagnosis for billing purposes. If you would like to use your insurance, a “superbill” can be provided on a monthly basis to submit directly to your insurance carrier.
Frequency
A free 15-minute complimentary consultation is recommended. A typical session is usually 50 minutes. However, longer sessions up to 90 minutes are available. The frequency of the sessions is dependent on a variety of issues. Typically a commitment of weekly sessions for at least 3-6 months is recommended for new clients. Online (video-conferencing) therapy can be offered if you reside in CA and meet specific requirements which can be discussed during the first phone consultation.
Cancelation
Sessions canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled session day/time and not rescheduled in the same calendar week will be charged the full fee for the session. Exceptions can be made in advance if needed.
