Individual Psychotherapy
Individuals seek psychotherapy for a variety of reasons, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship, challenges, persistent negative thoughts, emotional disconnection, or general difficulties navigating life. Psychotherapy can also be beneficial for those striving to set and achieve personal or professional goals.
I employ evidence-based approaches to support individuals in addressing emotional barriers, processing unresolved trauma, and identifying unhelpful patterns or belief systems. Through this process, we work to replace those patterns with healthier, more effective tools. My goal is to help individuals access and strengthen their innate inner wisdom, empowering them to move beyond limiting beliefs and foster lasting, positive change.
Children and Teen Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy provides a supportive space for children and teens to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences in a safe and developmentally appropriate environment. Through evidence-based approaches, therapy can help children and teens better understand themselves, build coping skills, and navigate the social and emotional challenges of growing up.
Common concerns addressed in therapy may include anxiety, depression, behavioral difficulties, trauma, grief, family transitions, and challenges related to identity and peer relationships. In sessions, children and youth learn to express emotions more effectively, develop emotional regulation skills, and strengthen self-esteem.
In today's digital world, youth are increasingly immersed in social media and screen-based technologies, which can contribute to emotional distress, anxiety, depression, sleep disturbances, and challenges with self-esteem. Therapy provides a supportive and clinically-informed space to help teens develop healthier relationships with their digital lives.
Parental involvement is an essential part of the therapeutic process. While honoring the child’s and teens for privacy and autonomy, I work collaboratively with families to support growth, healing, and meaningful change both in and outside the therapy room.
Children and Teen Yoga
Yoga offers children and teens a supportive, engaging way to build emotional regulation, physical awareness, and inner resilience. Through age-appropriate movement, breathwork, and mindfulness, yoga helps develop tools to manage stress, improve focus, and strengthen the mind-body connection.
In my work with children and teens, I integrate yoga practices that are playful, inclusive, and trauma-informed. Whether addressing anxiety, attention challenges, or emotional dysregulation, yoga provides a safe space for self-expression, grounding, and growth. Sessions are designed to meet each unique developmental needs, fostering greater confidence, calm, and overall well-being.
Mindfulness Meditation
Combining therapy with mindfulness helps you connect more deeply with yourself—emotionally, physically, and spiritually—supporting real and lasting healing. Mindfulness teaches you to be fully present, noticing your thoughts and feelings with kindness and without judgment, instead of reacting on autopilot.
In my practice, I use simple mindfulness techniques like breathing exercises and self-compassion practices to help ease emotional stress and bring more calm and balance into your life. Research shows that these practices can actually change the brain, helping you think more clearly, manage emotions better, and create positive habits that last.
